Iqra Education Society’s H. J. Thim College of Arts and Science was established in 1991 at Mehrun area of Jalgaon city. The college has been functioning for more than 34 years and has covered many milestones in its path of progress. Being solely Muslim Minority College in the Jalgaon district, “Thim” is also the only English Medium Arts and Science Graduate and Post Graduate college in the Khandesh region. The college is justifying its existence through the implementation of undergraduate and post graduates courses in Arts and Science streams. Apart from the various certificate courses run in the college. In the college campus MANUU (Hyderabad) and YCMOU Distance Learning centres are active. While over the years the college has created an excellent educational platform for the minority students. The college students win gold medals and merit positions at University examinations in various subjects.
Every year college organizes National level seminar, conference, workshop and special lectures, talks, discussions, for the overall development of the students, After graduating many students from this college, rendering their services in various fields hence contributing in the development of the nation.
The college provides sufficient sports facilities to the students.
