H. J. Thim College providing following activities to the students of Thim college
- LIBRARY
The college has well equipped library, with facility of a reading room. The library is having sufficient collection of text books, reference books, journals, periodicals, monthly news magazines and newspapers. The library aims to develop reading habits among the students. Total books available in the library are 19,777 worth Rs.21,82,946.60/- only.
- HOSTEL
Iqra Education Society provides hostel facility for the girl students only. The Hostel building is beside the college campus. This facility is available for the girl students studying in college.
- GYMKHANA
The Gymkhana and Sports committee of the college comprises of dedicated teachers and a Director of Physical Education to fulfill the needs of the students for various sports activities. The students participate in various sports at Inter collegiate, University, State and National level and win medals and trophies in different sports activities.
- INTERNET AND WI-FI FACILITY
The students of the college can avail the internet facility provided through the Department of Information and Technology from 11:00 A.M. to 04:00 P.M.
- NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)
The college runs NSS Unit and every year about 170 students enroll themselves for NSS. They are expected to dedicate 120 hours for social work and to attend the NSS camp during the academic year. Certificates are awarded to the students who satisfactorily attend the camp and other activities under the NSS.
- NATIONAL CADET CORE (NCC)
The college intended to start the NCC unit from academic year 2018-19 for the benefit of the students. The aim of starting the NCC unit at college is to develop dedication and feeling of national integration among the students.
- STUDENTS GRIEVANCE/ REDRESSAL CELL
The College has established “Students Grievance Cell” to solve academic problems and difficulties of students. Students can put/place their complaints in complaint box, which is kept near the administrative office. A separate committee takes cognizance of the complaints every fortnight and takes the needful action.
- WOMEN’S GRIEVANCE/ REDRESSAL CELL
Women’s Grievance / Redressal Cell is active in the college. The ladies staff members and the girl students in college may redress their grievance related to violent incidents or any type of physical or mental harassment inflicted on them.
- PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
Regularly extra-curricular activities arranged by various committees such as Vocational Guidance, Students Welfare, Counseling and Guidance, Sports, N.S.S., Yuvati Sabha, Alumni Association, Language Literary Association to develop overall personality of the students.
