NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
The NSS unit established in 1993. The NSS volunteer’s intake capacity is 150 in 2013-14 to 2015-16 and 170 in 2016-17 to 2018-19 including male and female volunteers. Each volunteer has to work for minimum two years period and one residential camp of 7 days. The working experience is compulsory for which University has a provision to give additional 10 marks. The college formed NSS committee, which is approved by university. The committee consists one programme officer, one assistant programme officer, one ladies programme officer and one member. The programme officer has to have an experience of 7 days orientation course conducted by NSS training and orientation center, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The NSS unit conducts regular activities and special winter camps. Our NSS unit has adopted village Nashirabad in 2013-14 and Shirsoli in 2019-20 to 2023-24 NSS unit takes social awareness activities and special winter camp in adopted village.
