Short-Term Goals (1–2 years)

Focus: Quality compliance, capacity building, and groundwork for institutional improvement

  1. Academic & Teaching-Learning
    • Implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE) with clearly defined Program and Course Outcomes.
    • Increase use of ICT-enabled teaching tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    • Enhance mentoring, remedial classes, and bridge courses for slow learners and first-generation students.
  2. Governance & Administration
    • Strengthen internal quality assurance mechanisms through IQAC.
    • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with NAAC, UGC, and minority-related norms.
    • Initiate basic e-Governance in administration (student data, finance, library).
  3. Student Support & Inclusion
    • Launch orientation programs to integrate minority and underprivileged students.
    • Improve student grievance redressal mechanisms and career counseling services.
  4. Faculty Development
    • Conduct FDPs on NEP 2020, academic quality, and research methodology.
    • Encourage faculty to register for Ph.D. and publish in UGC-CARE-listed journals.

Focus: Institutional development, academic enrichment, community engagement

  1. Academic Excellence
    • Introduce skill-based/value-added/Certificate Courses in line with NEP and local needs.
    • Establish inter-departmental and inter-institutional collaborations (including with other minority institutions).
  2. Research & Innovation
    • Encourage minor/major projects (ICSSR, UGC).
    • Start a peer-reviewed college research journal (print or online).
    • Promote innovation, incubation, and patent awareness among students and faculty.
  3. Student & Community Engagement
    • Launch community outreach initiatives aligned with minority upliftment (health camps, legal aid, education drives).
    • Formalize alumni association and leverage alumni support.
  4. Faculty & Staff Welfare
    • Set up faculty welfare and performance appraisal systems.
    • Incentivize faculty attending international/national conferences and workshops.
  5. Accreditation & Ranking
    • Prepare for higher NAAC grade (target A or B++) by upgrading SSR processes.
    • Efforts to improve NIRF, AISHE, and other national-level rankings.

Long-Term Goals (5–10 years)

Focus: Excellence, reputation, social impact

  1. Academic Leadership
    • Become a regional center of excellence for minority and inclusive education.
    • Develop as a postgraduate and research institution with M.Phil./Ph.D. programs.
  2. Institutional Growth
    • Establish MOUs with foreign institutions for faculty/student exchange.
  3. Sustainability & Social Responsibility
    •  Transition to green campus (solar energy, zero waste, rainwater harvesting).
    • Run regular training programs for women empowerment, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship.
  4. Policy & Advocacy
    • Influence educational policy through white papers, seminars, and partnerships on minority issues.
    • Advocate for inclusive practices and national integration through academia.
  5. Quality & Global Standards
    • Secure international accreditation (e.g., ISO, NBA for specific programs).
    • Foster multilingual education and digital transformation for global competitiveness.
